Job Purpose:

As the Digital Content and Website Manager you will be at the forefront of delivering our digital media across all our brand owned and partner sites. Working closely with the Digital Director, you will be fast thinking with an exceptional eye for detail and a drive to ensure all content is delivered to the highest standard.

The role is a critical part of the business that allows us to achieve our digital goals; faster digital transformation, stunning and technically sound platforms, world class ecommerce, better control of our product listings on third party retail sties and better planned customer journeys are just some of the things you will be working on.

You will be technically savvy, digitally minded individual with extensive experience across website CMS (WordPress), content delivery and media distribution across a wide range of platforms. You will have advanced knowledge of CRM strategies and systems, a good understanding of digital marketing requirements and advanced knowledge of how to improve engagement across owned and earned platforms. You’ll be comfortable with delivering to tight deadlines across multiple languages, locations and demographics using the latest digital tools and content management systems.

 

Location: This role will be UK home-based for the forseeable future (although access to Reading once a month would be ideal)

Reports to: Digital and Ecommerce Director

 

We’re looking for someone who can help us achieve: 

  • A consistent and digital first approach to all our media distribution; ensuring that it is used correctly across all brand owned and third party retailer sites.
  • Help to discover and implement new techniques to manage media and deliver it through all our digital channels.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing and creative teams to ensure all campaigns are completed as per the digital strategy.
  • Collaborate and support the content creation and delivery across our websites, ecommerce channels, CRM and social media platforms.
  • Help to build and maintain relationships with brand partners and external agencies.
  • Use analytical data to report on various site and content metrics; and be comfortable with displaying and reporting these to senior level staff.
  • Working with developers, agencies and wider marketing team to ensure brand site SEO is the best in the business.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the wider marketing team to boost productivity, bring new ideas to the table.
  • Supports the creation of paid media and inputs to paid media planning for all our digital marketing activities by creating targeted landing pages and unique online user experiences.
  • Work with the Digital Director and wider marketing team to deliver on digital strategy, including CRM, paid media and organic media strategies. 
  • Ensure all brand sites are optimised, working to peak potential and are constantly up to date.
  • Help deliver on the D2C Ecommerce strategy for the business.

 

You will be part of a small but highly focused marketing team, so this role is suited to a self-starter and motivated individual who isn’t scared to get stuck in and help us achieve. Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience with WordPress CMS and a working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Extensive experience of creating product,landing and general website content pages using the latest digital technologies.
  • Experience of digital media distribution across multiple channels, languages and media types.
  • Be able to multi-task, plan and prioritise your own workload.
  • Has an interest in all things digital, keeping up to date with the latest trends and news within the industry.
  • Ability to analyse traffic and usage data using analytics tools (preferably Google Analytics); provide reports to teams and make recommendations on how to improve engagement.
  • Are able to manage testing plans in order to evaluate innovative approaches in our digital tools and projects.
  • Has some experience of working alongside paid media campaigns, particularly using A/B testing to improve campaign performance and learnings. 
  • An understanding of CRM strategy with experience of CRM tools (preferably Mailchimp).
  • Experience of website tagging and tracking pixels, preferably using Google Tag Manager.
  • Work alongside a team of channel marketing managers, partnering to achieve strong digital results across the brands.
  • Management of tagging and SEO/SEM implementation of all digital content assets.
  • Management of all digital assets and ensure proper distribution to all relevant markets.
  • Be willing to apply yourself and learn new skills that help us develop our brands. We want you to become our number one brand ambassador to help us develop new and exciting marketing campaigns and ideas!

 

Proficiencies, Knowledge and Valued Skills:

  • Be a team player who is always willing to get involved.
  • Outgoing and not afraid to suggest new ideas. 
  • A great communicator with good copywriting skills.
  • Understands the importance of customer interaction through online channels.
  • Advanced working knowledge of WordPress as a CMS.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Google Analytics,DataStudio, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Powerpoint).
  • Second language (Spanish, German) highly advantageous.
  • Previous role within Technology or Mobile advantageous.
  • A positive approach to learning new skills and personal development.
  • A proactive problem solver.
