Responsibility
At Bullitt we love the water. The oceans, lakes, rivers, snow and ice are a big part of our lives and so we want to look after them.
We take this quite seriously. In part for selfish reasons (surfing, the beach, snowboarding .........), but think about it - 71% of the surface of the planet is covered by water and, alongside the air we breath, it is the most important ingredient for life.
We also believe that everyone should have a right to fresh drinking water. Sadly not everyone does.
We want to make a difference so as a company we are committed to donating to Marine Conservation Programmes and to provide clean drinking water for children’s educational projects in developing markets.
That is why we like to say we are blue and not green ........
We are also very aware of our responsibilities as a manufacturer. We fully support, and insist that all our commercial partners comply with, the ILO (International Labour Organisation) Conventions listed below:
- ILO Convention no. 138/1973 - The ban on child labour
- ILO Conventions no. 29/1930 and no. 105/1957 - the ban on forced labour
- ILO Conventions no. 87/1948 and no. 98/1949 - Freedom of association and right to negotiate
- ILO Convention no. 111/1958 - Non discrimination of employment
